Born in Iowa Ottumwa, Iowa on October 7, 1961.

Passed away on December 23, 2007.     John grew up in Ottumwa living most of his life there.  He worked maintenance.  Enjoyed working on cars, hunting & fishing.  He was a loner much of the time but the friendships he had were solid some as long as 35 years.  He was a support to his Mom & family, loving them all very much.  He was "Big John" to his nieces & nephews & friends kids.  He was there to help raise them all at times maybe being the one to disipline, but only out of his big heart & love for them.  He had lived for short times in Des Moines, Arkansas & California.  He met me in 2002 on the internet in an Iowa chat.  We dated on/off for year then he made the move to Fairfield then about 2 years later we made the big move to Lockridge.  Us, kids & our home to our 4 acre haven.  John loved the quiet country life, doing yard work, playing with our puppies, being outside taking in the air.  1 year ago John was diagnosed with renal failure he was addiment that he did not want a transplant or dialysis.  He passed peacefully.  John may be gone but he is in our hearts & memories.
